Is it free?
There will be a free tier for a single document, with paid plans for multiple projects, larger source libraries and team access. Waitlist members get early access pricing.
What does it do on its own, and what always waits for me?
It works unattended on anything reversible: searching, reading, checking a citation, running someone else's code in a sandbox. None of that touches your document. A drafted sentence, an added citation, anything that could end up in your paper comes back to you first, with its source attached. Nothing is added, submitted, or declared without your review.
Which fields does it cover?
Any field with a published literature. Verification is strongest where sources carry DOIs or stable identifiers: science, engineering, medicine, social science. It also works for books and reports through their metadata.
Does it write my paper for me?
No. It goes and does the legwork, searching, checking sources, drafting against your own evidence, and logs every action as it happens. That log is what you review before anything counts, and it doubles as your AI disclosure. The argument, and what stays, is yours.
Can I verify a paper someone else published?
Yes. Paste the DOI or upload the PDF. Samiksa reads it and gives you a plain-language summary of the abstract and conclusion, flagging any terms that need explanation. If the authors published their code, it pulls and reruns it in a sandbox, unattended, to check whether the results reproduce.
Does it work with published code on GitHub?
If the paper links to a public code repository, Samiksa can pull it and run it in a sandboxed environment on its own. You can use the original data or substitute your own to see whether the results hold.
What formats can I export in?
LaTeX, Word, Markdown, and PDF. Your source library exports as BibTeX. Nothing is locked in a proprietary format and you can export at any time.
I already have a thesis in progress. Can I bring it in?
Yes. Import your existing sources by DOI or BibTeX, upload your drafts, and continue from where you are. You do not need to start over to hand off the rest.
When does it launch?
